Course Description
Students is educated on welding safety and the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Process (GTAW-Pipe).
This includes proper techniques and electrode selection for welding pipe in various welding positions.
Each student will learn how to weld, and have the skills to pass the 6G weld test.
A skills test, which consist of a visual and bend test, must be passed after each welding position.
A certificate is issued upon successful completion.
Job Opportunities
Students will be empowered to perform production and maintenance welding in: Power plants, Petrochemical Plants, Oilfields, Pipelines, Refineries, Machine shops and Fabrication plants where pre-manufacturing is assembled
